As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Field Service Manager to support our Plumbing Service Manager and help lead the service department to continued success.
Position Summary
The Plumbing Field Service Manager plays a key support role in overseeing day-to-day field operations. This position works closely with and reports to the Plumbing Service Manager—assisting in leadership, training, workflow coordination, and performance management for plumbing technicians. The ideal candidate has strong field experience and a passion for developing others while driving efficiency and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Plumbing Service Manager in daily operational oversight of the plumbing service department
Provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring to field technicians to ensure consistent performance and customer satisfaction
Assist in onboarding new technicians and supporting ongoing training initiatives
Conduct field evaluations, ride-alongs, safety audits, and quality control checks
Partner with dispatch to assign workloads, optimize routes, and support schedule efficiency
Track key performance metrics and report field updates to the Plumbing Service Manager
Assist in handling escalated customer concerns or job issues to ensure timely resolution
Help ensure compliance with safety regulations, code requirements, and company policies
Maintain accurate records, job documentation, and system updates
Qualifications
✔ Journeyman plumbing license or equivalent required
✔ 3–5+ years of plumbing industry experience (service preferred)
✔ Leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred
✔ Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
✔ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
✔ Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
✔ Ability to use field service technology, tablets, and scheduling software
